Impulse 41 or 39....

been riding a 41 since like april 05....want to get a new deck now, thinkin about gettin a 39...any input on a smaller board? i could always get used to it u know, but, what do u dudes think?

I prefer a shorter board, but the down side is you have to pop a little harder to get them up out of the water, b/c they sit deeper, and they are a little less forgiving for that reason as well

i had the 39 n culdnt stand it. i switched to the 41 and it was much better way easier to pop things

it depend's on your weight n height to but anyone can still ride em i was riding 41's all the time n then i decided to switch 2 a 39 and i pre-fer it much much better..

im about 5-10 / 5-11 and 145lbs and i got a 39 impulse after riding a 41 a little and i couldnt stand it, hated every second i spent on it. i suggest riding one before you move to a smaller board.

skatevans, I would go with the 41.... I rode the 39 for the better part of august and I regreated my choice of going with the smaller size... although I could wip around 3 shuvs easy I found I had lots of problem with the size when it came to w2w and landing alot of other shuv tricks where hard because I like to ride with a wide stance (long legs) I found I didnt get the stance I wanted out of it... and with a smaller length the wide is abit smaller taking away from foot room (if you have big feet like me it didnt help)...

get the 41 trust me....
