like everyone else here i can tell you how sick JT was.

he cared about nick so much, nick was his pride and joy and all he wanted was for nick to be happy and do great things. he was stoked on every single thing nick did. i remember talking to him for the first time about setting nick up with integ, and he was so stoked on nick, and looking out for him and wanting the best for his son. he would tell me how positive nick is and how he's good at everything and that he even thought about putting nick in modeling!!! haha

he brought nick all the way out to toe jam and got to bro down with everyone and have a good time. he cared about nick so much that he made an unexpected trip to pro tour and broke nicks perfect attendance record/scholarship from school to give nick a chance against the pros. and was nice enough to actualy put up with me in his house for a freakin week during filming for S.I.L. haha. we all had fun. the list of things go on.

but nick, i tried calling you when i heard, call me back man. i'm happy he made it this far, to see you succeed. thats all he wanted was the best for you. and look at you, the 16 year old heart throb of the world wakeskater, doing what he loves, as not one of the best, but probly THE best wakeskater ever. and im GLAD he got to see you make it this far.
my mom, nicole, tyler and tiffany send their love and best wishes to you and jim getting threw this man. you know you're like a brother to me. and i'm here for you. i'll be seeing you soon bro.

Nick, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. If you're ever in Miami when I'm there or out here on the west coast and need anything let me know. Your dad seemed like he would be an awesome guy to meet!

nick... i'm sooooo sorry... i'm taken back and at a loss for words. my thoughts and prayers are there for you and yours.. i was lucky enough to shoot back and forth some emails w/ your dad... i wish i could have met him in person, but again feel lucky to experience such a great man even by email and this board.... keep you chin up... we're all behind you.

I didn't have the privilege to meet your father, but like freerider4 said: "your dad seemed like the coolest guy in the world".

prayin for u nick. i didnt know ur dad personally but ran into him a few times back in the pre-wakeskate tower lake competitions. he was an awesome guy. i dont think anyone elses dad's post on this site man. ur dad was a special dude and im sure he's very proud of his 360flipping heart throb man child. keep your head up

So sorry about your loss Nick, I lost my father recently so I feel your pain. Just remember that one day you will see him again, he will be waiting for you.

Wouldn't it be cool to have something of him on your pro model, that way he could still do what he loves with all of us. Mr T
