Distortion 2006

i was reading the alliance buyer's guide and noticed that Distortion had some bi-deck skates...anyone know anything about these? are why are they so cheap? bi-decks seem to go for $300 these days...

cfxomega, yeah i noticed that too, they're not really bi-levels they're actually just foam kicktails for added concave. i'm pretty sure thats what they meant by it. the only bi-level we had was that one a long time ago with the aluminum kicktails. which obviously didnt last.

Distortion just got a new composite board prototype this weekend. I had a good look at it yesterday. Looks good. Adam is working out a few kinks and should be able to start producing them very soon. Be on the lookout.

yeah, he's pressing them himself. He actually had the guy build the press and he's going to have it shipped back to atlanta. once the press is here, Adam is going to make another one so he'll have two. that guy can make freakin' anything.
