I hope wakeskating never comes to this

I saw in WBM's magazine gear guide Body Glove is now making wakeboards and bindings Smash

I seriously hope wakeskating never comes to that. I dont have a scanner, so if someone would mind postin a pic.

So what if body glove made a wakeskate it won't affect us. I wouldn't see it as any different than obrien making there bi level. Not sure if you skate but think of all the people who make skates but aren't really in the skate industry your still able to go out and have fun. I think we worry to much about this big companies making wakeskates but the truth it is not a big deal and the sport will still be just as fun but maybe we will get a little more coverage which would give the sport more money so we could have sweeter films and everything since there would be more money for all sorts of things in the sport. god half that doesn't make sense to me right now maybe tomorrow it will i'm tired.

freerider4 true, i just dont want wakeskating to end up like skateboarding has where all these companys are putting outstuff just to make a buck. I know for a fact wakeskating wont ever be as big as skateboarding, I just dont want companys whoring wakeskating. But by that time well have a Wakeskaters Union Cool

both u guys have good points, but serioulsy like body glove makes EVERYTHING, there are body glove underwear boxers and tj max... its so werid. and snoop dog has a skateboard/snowboard company, its not gunna effect us what so ever. but its just werid lol.

littleblightie it really is true when you think about it, not everyone will have something to pull them with, whereas a skateboard you can ride anywhere and anytime.

Plus a skateboard, you buy a setup which say is around 130. A wakeskate at cheapest is 70 bucks(brand new) then you have to get a rope, a handle, a life jacket, gas money for a boat or w/e, you have to get something to tow you which def isnt cheap. ITs just a more expenive sport.

Im not sayin wakeskating wont get big, but i dont think itll ever reach skateboarding big.
