Do all the big guns hang out together often? He's talking about Schmaltz, Collin, Staker, Chase, Byerly, and Thomas. I'd love to get on a boat with any of these peeps. _________________ dbanana wrote:

It's sweet to see someone riding like that back then. It's shows how far wakeskating's come. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

that video was cool, but it would be awesome to see a video of him riding now. like, i wonder if he uses shoes and griptape and if he still likes bigger composite boards like maybe the catalyst.

It's cool to me that a lot of you younger riders are taking the time to hear about Jason and where wakeskating really began, I honestly think it's really important. Jason is also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. The credit he deserves is long past due.
It's funny to see that video because I have not seen that myself in years! Most all of that was shot where I still ride to this day, in the first clip you see some house boats in the background... that is where I keep my boat still and leads back into the Ross Island sleu "hence the name" where I ride everyday in the summer as well as a few shots farther up river by Collin's parents house.
Ok, I feel old now and need to go change my depends! _________________ arson-wake.com |
