New board

I ride a Hyperlite Gate from 04. I am thinking of getting either a 05 or 06 Karma. Yet i may get a Byerly. Anyone ride either. Haven' t been riding long and wanted to know if there was more pop with the Karma because of exaggerated kicktails. Or if the Byerly would be better

bigrand, you should test out some other boards too. Only you will know what boards you like to ride the best. Try out an Integrity next time you can, it's not a wood board (that's what it looks like what you are looking for) and has customizable rails so you can dial it in to exactly how you want it to ride.

i dont recommend the karma... ive rode it a few times didnt like it much, talk to top hat he owns one.

The Hyperlites are good boards, but before you decide, you should check out some of the other/smaller core companies. Many of these companies are making as good if not better boards in my humble opinion.
