The guy has to eat. If cassette can't put food on his table, then he can starve or go get his food.

I have a feeling Reed has been starving for a while with cassette and it wore on him. Sometimes you have to take your blinders off to see whats going on. Cassette didn't sell a board in 2004, the 2005 flagship product breaks regularly, I'd have to imagine that their empty booth at expo didn't garner them many pre orders from dealers.

Personally, I ride a bi level but I wish I never felt the great ride becuase I can't afford to waste so much money trying to keep one in one piece to ride. I never got anything out of sending my 1st broken deck into cassette but I gave them the benifit of the doubt and supported them untill my calls and emails stopped getting returned and I broke the second bilvel after 6-7 sets.

By the way... Aaron Reeds Name was one both my broken decks Wink

My guess is cassette is done. What dealers are going to order from them?

abou tthe talent comment.. . . . . lame Basino, Shoenhals, Joey White, Walton, and our own Kyle Hyams. . .so not talented. . .Im sure you didnt mean that comment that way but its really a fizzle up thing to say considering that LF has the deepest talent roster on a wakeskate of any corpo company

they may have a deep roster, but they really didn't show it off in encore or relentless (especially the re-release). perhaps that will change.

electricsnow I agree with you, they should have really put more wakeskating n relentless and thet re release, i watched the original relentless up at wakestock in 04, the wakeskating was amazing, timmy and steve tore it up, but i am not sure why they didnt put in the final copy, and the only wakeskating i saw in encore was colin harringtons bs bigspin, the thing that gets me the most is that, reed, thomas, danny, motown and leatherman, seemed so tight together, and when those guys ride together it is amazing, not that im saying they wont ride together any more it will just be differnt now, plus reed and thomas put so much work into the bi-level idea too, but like everyone is saying you gotta put food on the table, i hope cassette doesnt go under, they are the reason that us wakeskaters are doing what we are doing today, i hope thomas and get his stuff together and really make a come back with the 06's

yeah i was also kinda bummed about the lack of skating in encore.

but thinking about it more ive come to the conclusion that im kinda happy that reed left at time he did (without knowing why he left or whether not he had been wanting to leave for awhile or whatever) because now he'll have the whole winter/spring to go on trips w/ LF and have justin film him so he can have a better part in the 06 LF team vid.

anyways. random thought. please, carry on with spreading rumors and speculating.

i think cassette always looked awsome the hole time but i havent rode one because you have to import them and postage is pritty much the same price as the board thats same in Mad
