| How much does wearing a shoe with a design like a skate shoe with the flat bottom and stuff help. Or shoes specificly for wakeskating? Just curious. |

| it helps alot, much more stability on the board.a shoes specifically for wakeskating is one designed like a skateboarding shoe usually with a drainage system, either a mesh construction or a system that channels the water out of the shoe and has a quickly driable material. |

i can tell a big diffrence between the dvs milans and byerlys. The milans have a narrower bottom whereas the byerlys, which i like better and wider and have a more skateboard type shoe. alot of people go without shoes with griptape, which would hurt ur feet real bad probably. so yes, the shoe shape def makes a diffrence. _________________ They call me Dr. Jones

umm dvs makes the milans... milan is a model in their line dude and im pretty sure byerlys are made by reef... correct me if im wrong
on the question, i dont think it makes a big difference other than the fact you can get the mesh shoes in the skate style. whatever feels the most comfortable and drains water well is gonna be your best bet. i dont really care for the skate style because they seem bulky on the wakeskate so i bought the dvs novas which are pretty small and have the mesh |

ya integrity640, i was wonderin wut u were talkin bout. anyways i've used both runners and skate shoes and the flat bottoms help for better surface area. i bounce some old DC's and i find that drainage is kinda a prob but meh. my ideal pair would be byerly's or milans.
