yeah i saw them back when there were on tour with dashboard. i won free tickets, went and saw thrice then left. and saturday i just saw them with underoath the bled and veda... amazing

its nothing like thrice, its a new thrice, which lacks the hooks of the older albums(and by older albums i mean Illusion and Artist, i dont include identity crissis or first impressions in there Very Happy

) its very artsy with teppi on all sorts of instruments ranging from the piano to some instrument only playable by teppi Laughing

Bestleft4dead, yah i know what you mean. i wasn't feeling it like artist or illusion. only one or two songs have that pump up vibe, the others are really chill

got to see thrice w/ underoath and the bled also and the new record is phenomenal.
someone got knocked the f*ck out during the bled's set, and underoath played 2 entirely new songs. it was an awesome show...and ive seen thrice at a small venue (100ppl or less) with thursday, and i also have an original demo copy of identity crisis...hooray for me

for anyone who cares, saw the thrice show on halloween and all the bands dressed up. thrice was team zissu from life aquatic. they all had short blue shorts, light blue sailor shirts and red bennies. they threw out about 100 red benies before the first song. 3 sets of 4 songs and inbetween each set they had that life aquatic techno beat going on and the bubble machines were pumping the whole show. they pretty much kicked ass.
