i think the ipod nano is a rip off, in cdn dollars the nano is 300$.. for the 20 gig photo its only another 80 bucks for 16 more gigs. way better imo _________________ Drifting further everyday. |

| NickFromCanada, yeah, but the Nano is way tiny... It's supposed to be competing with flash based players, not w/ hard drive players. The Mini was the same price as the Nano is in comparison to the regular 20 gig, but the Mini was still Apple's best selling product. 99% of the people won't regularly listen to more than 4 gigs of music anyway. Sure a lot of people have huge collections of music, but 4 gigs is the equivalent of almost 3 days of solid music. |

| To anyone that has an ipod, I recommend getting a little pouch or those plastic screen protectors if you don't want a really bulky case, they both work really well to protect the screens. You can make a pouch yourself if you just get some really soft cloth used to clean glass lenses. |

Unfortunetley, she doesn't feel the same.
I personally think people get a little carried away with hard drive size. My hat is off to anyone who can fill a 20gig iPod and listen to all the songs on their player. |

| the biggest thing you gotta worry about with those is sitting on them on a couch or car seat because that gives it a chance to have more weight on it in the middle or one side which will crack the screen alot easier. and from a wakeskaters point of view, water will probably be a problem. |

shane, People aren't getting carried away dude, they buy the 20gigs because they will most likely keep on buying music like everyone else, and they dont want to have to upgrade once they fill up a 4 gig hd. I have a 15gig, i have about 7gigs on it, and dude i listen to all the songs on mine. I have a FM trasmitter (itrip) and i havn't used a cd in years. I just put my ipod on shuffle through all my songs. _________________ "On the moon, nerds get there pants pulled down and they are spanked with moon rocks." |

hoffmac: put it on ebay. there are tons of suckers are on there who will pay you more than it is worth.
I've seen problems with ipods when the song is 48KHz, or with large mp3 files.. ~500 MB. If you encode your MP3s with a crappy encoder or you download music from the net you can get corrupted MP3s which migh not play so well in an ipod. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |
