hey, im going up to my cottage tonight and i want to get some lip tricks down and i was wondering what some good beginner lip tricks are, any1 got any good tricks i shud try out?

frontside lipslide... come up to the wake on your toeside and then slide the tail of the board over the wake. proceed to slide.

bs butterslide - same approach ts to wake than try to make your board slide, by pushing your front leg infront of the wake and quick fin releasing. Smash

a frount board is when you have your back towards the boat, and backboard is when you are faceing the boat. also the FS-shuv out of a BS boardslide is really easy, so try for a FS boardslide shuv out, or a pop shuv out of a BS boardslide.

Front board - you are facing the wake, you slide the nose over the wake so that you are sliding facing away from the boat

Front lip - you are facing the wake, you slide the tail over the wake so that you are sliding facing the boat

Back board - you have your back toward the wake, you slide the nose over the wake so that you are sliding facing the boat

Back lip - you have your back toward the wake, you slide the tail over the wake so that you are sliding facing away from the boat

ive had this argument so many times and im pretty sure that bs is facing away from the boat, because spinning a bs spin your back is to the boat

colclough999, bs has to do with the approach. Pretend the wake is a rail, if its behind you its backside if its in front of you its front side. maybe that helps

ook frontside is when you are facing the wake and backside is when youre facing away from it...

a (front or back) LIP is when your back leg goes over the wake

a (fornt or back) BOARD is when your front leg goes over the wake

therefore a front lip is when you are facing the wake and you bring ur back leg across the wake where you are facing the boat

a front board is when you put your front leg over the wake facing away from the boat

a back lip is when you are facing away from the wake and your back leg goes over the wake causing you to face away from the boat

a back board is when you are facing away from the boat and your front leg goes over the wake making you face the boat
