yeah thats what it is a.k.a underflip. Parky Rodney Mullen invented them, but alot of skaters do them (well maybe more freestylers). Watch his section in opinion and he does a nose hook impossible underflip. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

yea seriously. but i can do the things where it goes half way around then you kick it back. its easy you just dont take your front foot out of the way. well its not EASY i can land like one out of 20 if i really want to sit there and work on it _________________ 407-212-7425 |

it MIGHT be called a half flip. I was flipping through one of my magazines and I saw matias ringstrom to a half flip to late shoveit in a advertisement. Maybe I'll post it later, I'll see if I can get a camera. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Parky, what you are referring to there is a backfoot flip.
greg van wagnen, ok break the trick down Nose hook impossible is where you hook your foot under the nose and do an impossibe, but this is a special impossible that involves a flip but instead of doing a flip all the way he kicks it back around. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

Frederick, does it count as a kickflip underflip if it's only a half flip? I always thought a kickflip underflip required a full kickflip, and then a full underflip. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

a ickflip underflip can be a half flip. I am pretty sure all it invovles is a flip goin one way stopping the flip and flipping it the opposite direction, i don't think it really matters too much if it is a whole flip or half a flip. _________________ watch for the rise! |

A kickflip underflip is a kickflip and then as its coming around for the double kickflip kick it back around. So yeah medic is right.
Frye, casper flip is a thps trick. its not a true trick. But if they were considered to be a trick it would be a flip out of casper im pretty sure. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

I can do the "casper flip" thingy but I doubt that's what it's called; more like a half-flip late shuvit kind of thing. (They're not very hard.) I could be wrong though and be thinking of something different. As for the kickflip underflip or whatever it's called, when I've seen Rodney Mullen do them he does 1 1/2 flips and then flips the board back halfway so that he can land on the griptape. That's it, no more involvement in this discussion for me. |
