my friend just took out his brand new boat. during the 3 hour break in period, the boat completely shuts down and is inoperable. they had to get towed back to land and take it back to the dealership.

this happens to my friend during the first trip he takes after being on a mission for 2 years. what a bum out.

its probably something electrical, i have a new airsv211 and sometimes itll just go dead when you try to turn it on, the engine wont even try to turn. When this happens i just jiggle the throtle so a connection can be re-established and it then try the start button again and it works no problem. Very Happy

sounds great, i hope if i ever spend 50,000 on a boat it needs its throttle jiggled to start. while they are at it they should make u crank it like old ass cars to start it or better yet get a pull starter so if ur battery goes dead.

sorry but i do not get why boats are going for so much and are so unreliable. a 50,000 dollar car would not do that. and its not just malibu, my friends nautique breaks down all the time and u have to jiggle the throttle to get it started.

I have been in more than one new malibu lately that had a POS kill switch. It had to be jiggled to get it to restart, and if you hit it while hammering the throttle, it will die also. Sounds similar to the problem y'all had.

I agree...but cars and boats are completely different beasts

I think Integrity should start making boats... Cool

what ever the boat, you are always going to have problems with it... and pretty much all the time. Small ones, big ones.

even if it's a $100,000 boat lol hell, the more expensive, the more problems you have and the more they cost you.

boats are just something crazy heh

catalyst112,

he must have gotten the boat from Paradise...Those guys are so incompetant, I would not even take my toaster there for them to service. Let along buy a 60K boat from them.
