i started trying wake to wake stuff this past weekend. i can land wake to wake jumps 9 out of 10, but i am riding at like 55 feet. the wake is like 10-12 feet wide. since i just started wake to wake i figured id start a little smaller and work my way up. i tryed a few shuvs wake to wake i landed on the board 2 out of 5 but slipped out. so what do you think, should i continue learning everything so close to the boat then work my way out or start out at 70 feet? i am riding finless also. _________________ YSC is so steezy...

BLP010, ride at whatever you feel comfortable. I know someone that rides really short rope and way slower then most of us. And he KILLS it |

I was thinking about short roping the other day. I think it would be pretty cool. It would be like a nice little table and the wake would be a little larger. |

ride whats comfortable. Your riding behind an I/o at 55 ft and its still 10 feet wide. My nautique wake is 4 feet wide at 55 ft so your kinda ahead of the curve.
I ride 60 behind my boat. |

I ride 55, and 20 mph for w2w.behind a slalomn boat. My wake is probably like 10 feet wide also. Id say keep it that short and land some stuff. Then If you want your w2w to look huge, take it to the flats. Thatd be sick a shovit 10 feet into the flats. _________________

Go back to the fundamentals. When I'm about to try a new wake to wake trick I usually shorten the rope then slow the boat down and do it one wake (outside/in) at first. When it feels comfortable, just speed up and you'll nail it in notime.... _________________ _____________________________

BLP010 are you tying your rope to the tower or the back by the engine cause if you are tying it to the back it is like riding at 70 feet with the rope tied onto the tower. |
