I hear a cotton T-shirt gives you better float than a non-cga jet pilot. Oneils are pretty nice though...

whats the point in spending money on something that thin? i dunno...maybe its just me, but if i was gonna spend my hard earned money on a floatation device, im gonna make sure its actually gonna float me. maybe my logic is flawed a bit, but why spend money on something that isnt gonna do sht for you?
sorry for the rant. parky please plug away.
and i tried one of the non-cga JP vests and it floated me at my chin. everyone's body is different so i guess it just doesnt float me as well as others? i know lots of people swear by them, but i dont seem to ride any better with something minimalistic like that so whatev...

Im a big fan of the Nevin SWAT and FLAK vest they are bar none the most flexible, and they still float pretty good for non CGA

| scott a, no worries... your opinion is totally valid, and alot people feel the way you do... this vest still gives you floatation, because when you are sitinging in the water your head is still above the water.... gives more than any other non-approved vest ive worn

Word kento. I just got a Nevin Flak. I really like the lumbar support system. I tried on the Outlaw, the A-10, and others. Once I tried the Flak on I just knew that was the one.
