I just bought a 03 4-trac for $45. Its in ok shape, the paint is coming of on the rails. I love the board, it rides better than any other wakeskate i've ridden and it pops so easy.
Now I've got 2 questions for anyone who knows what they are talking about.
Question 1) The orginal grip tape peeled off, there is still the stickey glue stuff on the board, does that need to be taken off with some solution b4 i put new grip on it?
Question 2) The board in an ok condition, its ok to ride till the end of the season (Oct). Is it worth it in the winter time to sand it down and reseal it with marine sealent and paint it again? |

Shuvit720, no need to remove the sticky stuff, yes repaint and reseal, seal it now actuall yand it will help prevent waterlogging, but let it dry for a good 24 hours before you paint anything on it, theres a picture of the cassette I just refinished in the "anybody ride a swing?" topic you can decide for yourself if my advise is worth taking lol _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |
