I landed it!

Hey guys hows it going... Today was my third time wakeskating. My friend has a hyperlite with no fins. Ive been trying bs and fs slides on the wake and have them down no problem. I can ride switch decently also. But I wanted to step it up a bit today and started trying shuvs. I tryed about 30 times and got so close I was ready to quit (my legs were practically bleeding). But I stuck with it a few more times - and landed it! My first shuv! It felt so good to finally stick it after falling so many times. It was actually a really clean landing... damn it felt good. Just wanted to share my experience today. Smile

P.S. My Liberation shipped out today!! Im so excited to try that beast out!!! Very Happy

SnoSk8er10, nice man keep up the good riding and dont give up on a trick jstu beucas you fell a million times i fell trying kickflips porbally about clsoe to 2 hundred tries and was about to be like damnit scr*w this but i tried it a few more tries and stuck it

SnoSk8er10, I'm happy for you man, I remember that first shuv too... It was something lol!! The best feeling for me too is when you go home and you got a new trick in. Makes a good riding day even better ^^

but for me I can't do over again the same trick or I'll just have a mental block on it and will loose riding time... I rather try a couple times, do other stuff, and if I land a few tricks and feel confident I go for the new trick again. Makes it less frustrating to me Wink

Its such a good feeling landing it after so many falls!! It just makes me want to go out agian and try more and more stuff. I have to wait till Thursday b/c of work tho... Sad

well i should have done this sooner but i just never thought to try it, any way switch bs-board shuv out. so now i got switch shuvs both ways, and switch f-s boards shuv out and b-s boards shuv out. anyway im stoked on it cause i landed it first try, but its kinda not as sweet as when youve been racking yourself all day and then you finaaly stick it.

Sweet man all those falls finally paid off. Try one off the double -up rollers out in the flats. You can get big and dirty and time just seems to stand still as that biatch is spinning beneath you.
Keep the progression going, everytime I stick a new trick I go right after something I've never even tried. Maybe you should try a fs shuv, they look cooler when you pop em big.

yah man thats soo rad, i finally got my shuvs consstent last night, it was soo rad fell lots like you did but when i landed 1 i knew i had it soi went out adn landed a whole bunch more jsut working up my confidence...good job man keep it up!!

SnoSk8er10, thats how i was when i landed my first shuvit. it took me all day but i stuck. i was so sore from riding all day i dont know how i did but i did. no i have them done pretty good.
