alright, my wake/skate shop just closed about a month ago, and at scheels they have a Hyperlite Scape 117 w/ foam for 100$, i really wanna wakeskate and i have no other options besides the internet.
should i get it or find one on the internet?

internet for sure. i have a 116 scape and it is huge and there is much better stuff out there

well do u like it at all??? cuz ive never wakeskated before but im a wakeboarder and skater so wouldnt it work for me?

and is foam alot worse than grip??

i would buy it.that was the first board i ever bought. i have 4 now. but that scape is still my favorite.i took the foam off and put griptape on.

i say go with a cheap kampus... or or a old casstte... u could get them for cheap... look on ebay or evo gear... or other places.

so if u remove the foam and put grip on it wont warp and still works fine?

i like it but its the only board ive ever ridden. it gets the job done, but i would just suggest a smaller skate. boardstop.com has some boards you shouold check out and you get a discount

I'd personally go with the cassette flat because a 117 is a huge damn wakeskate (I'm not even sure why they make them that big anymore). That's almost 47 inches....I'd look for something in the 40 to 42 inch range.

117 is pretty big for a wooden flat deck i would go with somehting online becuasue you can always find that same scape for 100 dollars online

skatetolive, You could also wait about 4 weeks and get a Omen flat deck for about $150 and it wont fall apart or warp like everything else Very Happy
