yeahhhhhhh landed my w2w yesterday!!!

i know it's no big deal to you vets but i hit it on my 1st pull at the w2w yesterday... i landed on the lip more than smoothly down but i guess that counts... otherwise i fell about a zillion times yesterday Laughing

i landed on the board and ALMOST rode away on a shuv 180, everytime i tried that i got different results.. i'd slide back and shoot the board forward or try to get forward and eat $hit over the front.. i did a nice split one time w/ one foot on the board and one in the water Embarassed

i'm f-u-c-k-n STOKED about the long weekend and getting to ride some more...

i gotta run meet a customer... i'll try and remember how i really busted my arse a few times and share those a bit lata... Laughing

yeah i'm enjoying learning a new ride on the water.... i'm getting a little more comfortable on the lip tricks... but i'd say the worst is me trying to ollie Laughing

i can't get a big pop in the flats, i can tell if i get it off the wake or not.. but out there i couldn't hop a beer can floating Laughing

which is pathetic. i can ollie on a skate board a little, on the balance board pretty good... but on the water... next to nothing... but i can hop it up to shuv so.... i'm clueless of what to "work on" for that and i have the snap video... the other instr. helps, but the ollie = nope.

falls- i face planted so hard one time, i thought my contacts shot out my a$$. i hit the water back first and it felt like standing still to catch a football and a free saftey hitting you full speed from behind, i thought my contacts shot forward out of my eyes Laughing

oh, and getting whipped/in the sling on that thing is real fun, zoom zoom zoom = ON

yes, i am stoked, i'm considering sneaking away early, cutting the grass so my wife will let me leave today and get a sunset ride...

i can barely ollie too. only like 8 inches. its really different than a skateboard.

I like that about wakeskating. Wakeboarding you land in the flats and it's harsh. On the wakeskate you land on the downside of that wake and the transition is jello smooth. Props Warlock.

AAAHHHHH. I want to ride so fiznackling bad... I really wish my internship wasnt in Connecticut (or at least it could be somewhere where people actually ride). I also really wish that my parents wouldn't be idiots and be like, let's go on and buy tickets for a family vacation to Europe the two of the three weeks I have free this summer without asking me if I wanted to go (just got back, it sucked). I'm done with that bulljive. Eck, sorry for all the bitching, needed to get it out of my system.

Anyways, congrats on getting to go out and ride, I am envious.

first, thank ya'll for all the encouragement!

i got some good riding in this weekend before the rains came. i got there in time to ride friday but didn't get a driver.... so i got out first thing saturday morning. my comfort level on the board has gotten better, back and front slides (whatever you call them) on the lip are easier, and i'm not fallling as much. the w2w landed smooth down the other side

(its a small mastercraft wake, w/ no weightin the back... not like a wakeboard boat by any means) landing down the other side was like landing into slush.. no impact, just a phat smile. we came back out of the slew and i hit one more w2w, but not quite down the otherside, and set up to try the shuv.... i kicked it and watched the board, saw both feet land in good postion,just about rode it out.. the board slid forward but didn't go 100ft forward like before, i sorta just missed it off the back... i think i just have to get my weight centered to ride it away... not sure???!!!, but it was FUN

... rode some more later and had too much rum in my head... nothing to talk about.

ready to get out again, too bad it won't be this week, or weekend Sad
