just got my board in, need help

it came with 4 square grips, how should i go about putting it on my board? just lay two pieces on the front and back or what?

grip it and then put the fins on it. just make sure you dont grip over the screws.

also, is it better to put the grip tape on then drill the screws in over the grip tape or under the grip tape?

Have you ever put grip on before??? If not, makesure you press the grip on hard so there is no air bubbles between the board and griptape. Take a steel file and grind the griptape all around the edges of the board so that the griptape can be cut easier with a knife. Then cut around it... If you know how to put griptape on already then i feel dumb for explaining this. Laughing

With my kampus the four sheets of griptape go on the board like this:

fromthesouth, i dont think it matters. i just kinda stab at the grip tape side with a screwdriver looking for the holes. it can entertain me for a minute or two.

not me.... the pre cuts are weird and the leave that space with no grip.. im not saying i dont like it but its just a funny feeling

got back a few hours ago. got up my first try and stayed up. went two fins but will be going to one fin soon. only took the jetski so it wasn't very easy getting up plus wind was blowing so the current was pretty choppy. i know when i get in a cove this weekend it will be a breeze carving in and out, or i hope so;)

looking forward to wakeskating more and more and plan to take it up as a new hobby=]

dude you f'ed up if you did it like you had in your picture, looks like you need all four sheets to grip the whole skate. you might have to go buy some more now to do it right...

this is how my buddy does his it's pretty sick, you can make it off center too but you have to do a good job or it looks lame
