Wakeskating Film Project Titled "More Than Machines" Announced

Tad Mathews is hard at work producing a follow-up wakeskating film to last year's release of "Scallywags." His new film, titled "More Than Machines" is scheduled for a summer release and is still in the early stages of production (so early that an official list of riders has not been announced). But Mathews has already captured some amazing footage of Stu Shinn, Dieter Humpsch, Keaton Bowlby, Nick Taylor and Matt Hooker. Mathews also has numerous winching trips planned, as well as a trip to Bowlby's private, scenic set-up in Tahoe.

Dieter, land gap shuv, no flinching.

With "More than Machines", Mathews said, "I'm trying to do something different. Scallywags was fun, but this time around I've got new inspiration. I've learned a lot and it's going to be good. I'm stoked on everyone who has been involved so far." After watching the trailer, I'm completely convinced of this. Check it out for yourself at the current More Than Machines website.

Also, be on the look out for an official website for the film that will include some photos, the teaser, and film updates.

Finally photo credits for the "More Than Machines" preview go to Garren Wright and Samantha Czerepka. And Mathews would like to thank Vince Whiteman for hosting the teaser.
