Reed Hansen Defends Worlds Title in Oklahoma City Date: 09-07-2008
Author: Wakeskating.com Staff
The podium upon which the finalists in the pro wakeskate division stood looked relatively similar to King of Wake events past, namely with the presence of Brian Grubb, Stu Shinn and Reed Hansen.
While Stu has made a tremendous run on the King of Wake circut this past season by winning the Tige Pro-Am and the WWA Nationals, and Brian Grubb captured the professional mens title at the Wake Games back in April, Reed Hansen was able to successfully defend his Worlds title. Coming in second place was podium regular Brian Grubb. Stu Shinn found himself in third place, and Canadian rider James Balzer was in 4th place.

As always, congratulations to all who competed at the event. If you missed the live webcast of the event, Fuel.TV will have a highlight footage of all divsions from the event, which will be on the webcast website on September 9.
