Wakeskating Results from Day One of the Air Nautique WWA Nationals  Date: 08-07-2008
The Air Nautique WWA Nationals Kicked off on Wednesday, August 6 with the amateur and professional women's divisions hitting the water.
The amateur division was represented by two heats of riders, with the top two from each heat qualifying for the following day's finals. The top two riders from heat one were Clark Becker and Justin Wells, and the top two riders from heat two were Matt Hayden and Nicholas Rex.
The professional women's divsion was represented by one heat of six riders, with the top for qualifying for the finals. Stephanie Wamsley topped the heat with an even 70.00, followed by Jennifer Gilanfarr, Elizabeth Talansky and Lacey Menkin.
The Air Nautique WWA Nationals will continue on Thurday, August 7 with the Amateur wakeskate and Women's wakeskating finals. The Pro Wakeskate Quarterfinals will begin on Friday, August 8. For more information and an event schedule, visit www.KingOfWake.com.
