Texas Ski Ranch Hosts Mastercraft Boat Wakeskate Specific Event

TSR Press Release
Date: 05-31-2008

Ameteur Riders may compete in one of three categories: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. The riders will be judged and coached by some of the best wakeskaters in the world that happen to be in Texas competing in the Byerly Cable Jam at TSR. Aaron Reed, Danny Hampson and Bret Little are just three of the wakeskaters that will judge and help coach you through your run. The laid back competition format will give our judges plenty of opportunities to pass on a few tips to help you improve your wakeskating. If you enjoy wakeskating, this is an event you won't want to miss.

One turn per rider. Each rider will take off the starting dock to the right and turn around. Once the turn is complete the run will begin. The judges will score until the third fall or the rider returns to this end of the lake, whichever comes first. If the riders first fall is past the point of no return (Meaning there is not enough distance to get the rider up to speed and perform a trick) the run will end there. Riders will be judged on degree of difficulty, style, amplitude, variety and overall flow of their run. More importantly our world class judges will also give you advice on how to improve your riding! Riders will not be picked up after their third fall.
