Air Nautique Wake Games Day Three: Titles Decided In Amateur And Professional Women's Wakeskate Divisions Date: 04-26-2008

The wakeskaters returned to the water at the Orlando Watersports Complex for day three of the Air Nautique Wake Games. In the professional men's division, ten riders made it from Thursday's round to today's semifinal heats. Four riders would qualify for tomorrow's finals, with that list of riders being comprised of Danny Hampson and Reed Hansen from heat one, and Brian Grubb (last year's Wake Games champion) and Andrew Pastura from heat two.
In the amateur division, Joe Phillips kept his momentum rolling for another first place and an amateur wakeskate division title. That's not a bad way to build a resume...
Finally, the professional women's division had a little bit of a shake up, with Bethany Henderson topping the list for the win. Jennifer Gillanfarr earned herself a second place position, and Stephanie Walmsley rounded out the list in third place.
On Sunday, the professional men will ride one last time in the finals to determine who will be this year's Wake Games champion. And with the list as loaded with talent as is, the outcome is sure to be interesting.
