RLAND Reminder--Film's Premiere Set For August 31 Date: 08-26-2007

Just as a little reminder, one of wakeskating's unique and highly anticipated videos is set to premiere this coming Friday at the Plaza Theatre.
RLAND, Bryan Soderlind's first film, affectionately dubbed a "16 mm wakeskate experiment", will be shown to the public on August 31. The evening is set to begin at 7.30 p.m., and plans for the evening include an art show, a silent auction, a presentation of the entire collection of prints available at The Standerd Store and live entertainment, among other things.
However, there are a few details that are worth mentioning before you set your plans.
RLAND is having a golden ticket contest for pre-orders and DVD purchases at the premiere. Gently placed inside 200 copies of the film will be a golden ticket, where by the proud ticket holder will be able to claim one of said 46 signed prints from The Standerd's complete collection.
As you may or may not know, RLAND is a limited edition release and is currently available for pre-order exclusively at The Standerd Store for $20.00. If you pre-order your copy, you will get free admission to the premiere, and you will also be able to pick your copy up on the evening of the 31st.
If you don't pre-order your copy, you will have the opportunity to purchase RLAND at the premirere, though you will pay the regular price of $25.00. Admission will also cost $5.00. Regardless of the route you choose to take, if you attend the premiere and purchase one of those 200 copies, you will have a chance to win one of the autographed Standerd prints.
RLAND is a 16 mm wakeskating experiment from the eyes, mind and camera of Bryan Soderlind. The stage is set in central Florida with five key riders (Scott Byerly, Brian Grubb, Aaron Reed, Brandon Thomas, George Daniels, with an appearance by Danny Hampson) and the lakes they frequent.
