Winch Updates: Deep Water StartsTony Robinson, creator of The Winch, contacted Wakeskating.com with some updates on The Winch project by Rewind. Tony said that he is almost done with the public version that will be for sale. Another huge announcement is that they have been doing testing with the winch and deep water starts. So far, the winch has pulled up a 220 lb. rider from a deep water start with 500 feet of rope. This thing just keeps on getting better.
So when will the winch be available to buy? The word is that you will be able to get your hands on one before this spring for a price of $1399.00 USD. The fastest way to be "winching" it, is to contact Tony directly through their website, Thewinch.com.
