will a flat slide box work with out sinking in post????
basicly, dragging a dock out (use some sort of drop anchor...) so that it can be removed and tied back up at the end of the day???
im pretty sure the two would work differintly but...
any one have much experiance with this?
(before i start swinging a hammer)
*if this is crap topic, my bad... _________________ "i spell like a 9 yr old dislexik kid..." |

I thought this thread had something to do with a public restroom _________________ The above are opinions of NotSoBueno, based on NotSoBueno's life experiences and are not reflective of the opinions of wakeskating.com, posters on wakeskating.com, or readers of threads on wakeskating.com. |

yup...since its floating, though, it wont be nearly as stable as a permanent rail. _________________ R.I.P. JT- we all know you're slayshin up above, smack the lip off a cloud for us!

just make sure you anchor it with plenty of rope so it will stay in place good it sucks when you try to hit and it is turning on you _________________ Choose your own path before it is chosen for you

bird dog, that would work fine, my friends and i just built a box rail, we keep it up with 4 50gal barrels, 2 galvanized steel straps per barrel, and a pvc plank all courtesy of home depot. and i suggest you screw not hammer. _________________ http://vergewakeskates.com/ |

sick!!!
SkateForce, is that a top view or side view?
i was thinking of dropping boat anchors down into a lake that is 18-25' deep.
(i could do some sort of an extension off of our dock like the you drew as well???/unless that is a side view and that still works.. great)
that is great work for on the fly drawing, good job! (you got "props"...)
* i was using hammer as a figure of speach... i do prefer screws. (but thanks for the extra thought. thats with zero sarcasm...well now its...) _________________ "i spell like a 9 yr old dislexik kid..." |

i cant belive im watching post go up on "whack" topics???
(but i also shouldnt be complaining..)
mean while back on the ranch...
i have noticed that the cable parks have flat kickers but,
what about a floating transition ramp or launch ramp.
i know these things would be better posted into the grond but if the only option is to make it float, would a kicker work and or a trasitioned ramp???
(*has any one thought or seen a quarterpipe used at all???? _________________ "i spell like a 9 yr old dislexik kid..." |
