Intensity makes great wakesurfers, and the Hyperlite Landlock is cool too.

buy a skimboard dont buy one of those things you will not have the fun you will with a skim. If you want to pay around 300 try getting a phase 5 havent ridden one but I know its made by a skimboard company and thats what the riders for ZAP use. Also you might want to look into Victoria or Exile Skimboards also. Exile makes the best boards on the market for skims so if your down to throw out some cash get one of those if you have any questions about these boards pm me I can tell you anything you need to know about them its my job.

He is right about the skim board. Alot of the guys in the World Wakesurf Championship use skimboards, or at least modified skimboards. And several of the regular wakesurfers are made by skimboard companies. If your Victoria is too squirelly, drill it and mount a small fin.

Im not talking about a woodie Im talking about a pro size board a more higher level board. The board I skim with professionally is a carbon/epoxy board and the board length is 51 1/2" . Skimboards are the way to go with wakesurfing hands down throwing shuvits, surface spins, bigspins, and hopefully kickflips soon. My boy Jaime has been trying fire hydrant shuvits which is basically putting your hand where your front foot would go and spin the board with your hand landing with the hand back in the same spot and riding it away with no rope.. pretty sick

My favorite wakesurf is the CWB. Once you take the front fin and the two outside fins on the tail off its a great board.

big country, I had no idea you could use skimboards for wakesurfing.. I have a fiberglass skim board and I'm now thinking of taking it out tomorrow. Thanks for the idea bro!
