| I'm headed up to the northeast to do some snowboarding on the 28th and am just looking for any tips on jumps/ half pipes. I've snowboarded a few times before, and I'm pretty good with rails and stuff, just haven't attemped any kickers or anything yet. Also, my snowboard has been sitting in my closet for like two years, any maitenance things i should check out before i hit the slopes? |

All I can recommend is a nice wax. If you need the specifics on what to do pm me and i'll share the art of waxing the snowboard I have perfected with you. _________________ Get ya' hair did. |

Slyder, if your board has a lot of scratches you should fill them in with ptex, and then take it to a shop to get a base grind. (the shop can probabaly do the ptex work for you if you dont know how.) they'll prob take care of your edges as well. also get a hot wax at the shop too. unless u know how to hot wax it with an iorn yourself. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

Honestly it's not that difficult to wax your own board. However, what Chris suggested might not be a bad idea if you don't have all the materials yourself. The cost of the snowboard wax and a decent scraper (not a credit card) would nearly be what a shop would charge you. _________________ Get ya' hair did. |

if you happen to hot wax it yourself, spare your mom's nerves and use an old ass iron... Like the ones that are only a big chunck of metal that heats up... Youll chickity china the chinese chicken up a recent iron with the wax _________________
