I learned in about 20 minutes at some ski school at my grandparents in winter haven. when your learning sit on a wakeboard and have the ride go up to about 20 and cut outside of the wake and then give him the thumbs up and tell him to drive fast and put your feet onto the water lean back and go it. it's been about 9 years since i've done it so that might not be correct.

I've tried before and was unsucessful. I started off slalom skiing with the binding real loose and kicked it off. I rode for about 3 seconds barefoot at like 36 mph, but then I ate it big time.

i normally step off a slalom. but you can also sit on a kneeboard pretty easy. deep water start it hard cause you have to put your legs up over the rope and then drop them once your up to speed.
just wear a wetsuit cause your dont want ANY orifice accessible. rule to live by if you barefoot.

you can deep water.. dock start.. start off a slalom, off a knee board.. off a boom is easy.. you can hook a handle on the boom for a little more difficulty.. and deep water practice... i have not done it in a long time.. and said i was going to this season.. guess i got a few more days in this month though Razz you can do it w/ your wakeskate shoes on to make it easier.. tie them tight or you can lose them on a good fall.... some of the worst falls i've taken were footin... THE worst has been being late in a slalom course and coming over the front...

ride a damn trash can lid... a boat paddle... shoe skis are fun as hell... i rode sunday w/ a guy that used to jump in shows.. do heli's and #hit off a 6.5 ft ramp... he broke out some shoe skis.. Crazy Eyes i was like.. daaaaaaamn.. i haven't seen those in 20 years... Laughing rode a real surf board and wake surfed.. which was interesting...
