what's up. these two videos are of flatland skimboarding on rails similar to rails around the greater new orleans area, louisiana. check them out. seeing on how i don't have a boat to myself, i can only ride when i go with friends. so, for others in my situation, it's a good alternative to riding if you don't have a boat .

oh, and louisiana riders and everyone else, i'm new to these forums.. if anyone around here wants to make a generous boat donation for a day or spare some room, pm me . _________________ i am the bear jew |

thanks man. eh i'm alright. like i said, i don't have a boat, so i don't get to skate as much as i'd like.
but, i'm working on buying a winch right now, so that should open up some possibilities. _________________ i am the bear jew |

i'm in mandeville, right across the lake. where in new orleans are you?
i was doing some searching on these boards and i read about you being in lakeview and everything before the storm, and how Dave Barrouse organized a donation for you. i gained immense respect for the people on these boards. that was awesome. _________________ i am the bear jew |

Yeah man, the guys wakeskating.com are not like other people on the internet. It's a family. You gain respect, and most of all you gain friends. These people are half the reason how i got back on my feet so quickly after the storm. They supported me in every way they possibly could, and went beyond. Dave is an awsome guy. He used to live in louisiana so he knows whats up. Chris Barcellos and Nick Taylor are awsome people as well.
I still live in the lakeview/lake terrace area. Pretty much on the lakefront.
Im on like an island of 2 blocks that didn't get flooded. It's pretty cool. |
