all the US Army ads popping up all over the place. All the Armed Forces as a matter a fact have been recruiting all over the TV lately. Hell it is even a banner ad here. You guys think were running a little low on troops?? hmmmmmmmm.

Every year recruiters go to every school... no big deal, but yes recruiting is way down for obvious reasons

Bad Luck, San antonio has the most air force bases in one area, so thats probably why. Youve got randolph, lackland, ft.sam and a couple others. Just appealing to the young crowd that visits TSR i guess.

integrity640, yeah, theyve been trying to get to the wake (boarding/skating) crowd a lot lately, telling people they can still do wake sports while in the air force. they were a big sponsor of the texas wakeboard tour too.

eh, i can deal with it. i LOVE snowboarding, and the pacific NW coast, i'd probably just end up living/working in the whistler/blackcomb area.

the skating is good in that area too (when its not raining) and vancouver has some other benefits that i enjoy.

Apparently this new recruitment campaign is copping alot of flack as their brief is directly targetting 16-19 year olds. They got a big agency who was paid a buttload to do this.
It even made news downunda here in NZ.
Wars suck.
