whatcha plan on testing ????

So how many of you kids plan on demoing a board before you but it this year ?????

I know that should play a major role in why you buy a board, but sadly tons of kids buy boards blind with out testing them previously.

I know ive gotten to ride a couple 06 boards that aren't out yet and I think its safe to say that every company will have a board for someone.

i would encourage you all to go to your shops and ask for ROC boards to be stocked on the shelves. You guys ultimatly controll the shops. THere's know way there going to buy brands like Sattelyte, Integrity, Omen distortion and oak without you guys telling them thats what you want, And thats what you plan on buying.

And Im sure that you guys could get hooked up if you put shops in contact with guys like me, sleu, johny utah, schmaltz, headhunter ect..... seriously were coming up on a new year.

if I had a place where I could demo near me I would demo everything they had.

PIRATE, If only it were that easy.
there is 3 shop within 10 minutes of me and another handful down in san jose. You walk in any one of them and all you see is the same ol shizzle.
I have friends that work in 2 of the shops. One of the shops is K-dubs shop, Believe me when I tell you he would to love to see these companies on his shelves, but the sad truth is hyperlite sells around here. Most shops were carrying cassette until they couldn't provide product anymore. I'm not sure if we will see them in the shops around here anymore Rolling Eyes

I know that k-dub has been trying to get Erich's boards on the shelves since the mutiny days.

You guys(the reps) need to be going to the local shops and bugging the freaking hell out of them to carry your decks. that in-cunjunction with some buzz and all the kids begging for boards might help to change things.

The really sad thing is I could stand in the shop and bad mouth hypes all day long and they will still fly off the shelves. go out on the delta in the summer and its crazy how many poeple are out there wakeriding, and I bet 90% of the boats are fully stocked with hyperlites.
Mine usually has a couple Integrity's, a couple Cassettes and maybe a hype sometimes

RUSSIAN, do you plan on testing before you buy???

-Nor*Cal-, hmmmmm??????? who said anything about demoing a sattelyte ???? I didn't even mention that ???

its not what seperates sattelyte from cassette, integrity and omen its what sets cassette, sattelyte integ, and omen away from LF and HYpe. That truly matters.

PIRATE, well my next board will be a new Integrity, not that I need a new board but I want to help Erich and the team out(their my friends). plus the 05's are supposed to kick ass so the 06's shoud be even better.

I will/would try any of the new boards. I'd love to be to give them all a spin, but I don't see that happening.

I'm pretty positive that the only decks I would be able to demo from a shop will be the new hypes and lf's. I'm sure I will demo the new Integrity's before I decide which one I want.

Oh And I completely understand what you are saying about getting the companies in the shops, I just think it will take a little more time, especially around here, for their to be enough buzz about the newer companies for a shop owner to make that step. I say owner cause most of the managers are already willing to change
