I have one. It's actually not made by liquid force, but by a company called freestyle audio. They teamed up with LF to promote it. They were at surf expo and I picked one up there for retail. These things are awesome. I can go to Odub and listen to my own music. I swam laps in the pool the other day while listening to it.

scott a, That's an incredible idea. I have a waterproof cased for my iPod and the arm band kind of annoys me.

Slyder, if youre good at sewing i would just create a pocket for it on the inside of the life vest. somewhere on the upper chest area by the shoulders because there is less padding there. i dunno...maybe a winter project for ya?

is LF trying to become the Burton of wakeboarding? burton has a bluetooth enabled jacket coming out this season...you can operate your mp3 player on the sleeve and receive incoming phone calls etc.

cfxomega, I'd say a bluetooth wired jacket isn't exactly the same as an mp3 player. The bluetooth jacket has been out at least a year, but not from Burton. I believe it was a German company who came out with one last year that had an mp3 player built in and controls on the sleeve, along with bluetooth capability for cell phones. So it's not exactly a new technology, their just the first ones to connect it to the action sports deal. As far as LF, I'm not really sure what the deal is with that. If what nichSloan said is true, it would make sense that it's just like an endorsement deal with them sort of. Just teaming up to increase sales for each company.

I say all the power to them for doing things differently. What with an entire kite division, film division, and things like inflatable pools and now mp3 players, sounds like they're all you would need.

integrity640, It wouldn't hold NEARLY as much as an iPod. Their largest one is equal to the smallest iPod shuffle, at about 120 songs (according to apple). The next one down (the 256) will hold about 50. Finally, the smallest one (128mb) will hold roughly 25.

So...

worth the money? I really don't think so, at least as far as your other options go on MP3 players.

(I did all of that using the conversion that there are 1024mb in a gb. So please check my math, I'm generally bad at it.)
