They put one on their "wake" boats, so I dont see why one couldnt be on a ski. |

agreed that the jet wake boat is a joke- some people will see 'tower' and 'perfect pass' and immediately think its a wakeboat. PP on a PWC would be great; and im lovin the orange/gold and black color combo. Guess i have the last of the green ones with the 05 rxt... |

Thanks for all the good and some bad thoughts on Sea-Doo's 2006 lineup. The wake edition actually looks better in person then it does in pics. No there will be no perfect pass on a watercraft, we do have it on the jet boat, but remember theres no thumb throttle on that. You may think our "Jet wake boat" is a joke, but it will suprise you, I mean it's no X star but with the new Ballast system, perfect pass ,and tower, its as good as some of the "Real" wakeboard boats on the market. Sea-Doo is not a bunch of old people coming up with stuff, they have people who work for them who do wakeboard and wakeskate that have alot of input on how these things are built.

Cody25911, Is there a reason seadoo doesnt offer a perfect pass/cruse control option? _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

personaly wouldnt ever own a sea-doo, maybe the newer stuff is better but the original wake edition sucked big compared to all other of the current year ski's. also the older one blow donkey balls, i know some people with around 100 hours that have major problems all the time. im running 330hrs on my honda and it runs top nitch with no problems. ive serviced it 3times at the dealership and once i did it.
the one thing i will gove a big holla to the sea doo guys is their involvement in the sport, my hats go way off to that, and hopefully their stuff is good now. cause if my ski started breaking down at 100hrs i would of died |

I am no engineer but I can follow a tought for a few seconds. So what point where you making right there? On a jet boat you have no throttle cable? I mean the thumb throttle activates that cable just like the lever on the jet boat no? Sure the lever stays in place and the thumb one jumps back to neutral if you let it go, but you could have a lock in position where the perfect takes control from. If you slightly touch the thumb throttle again it pops off that lock position and cuts the perfect...
Maybe I'm way off, but please tell me why I need to remember that theres no thumb throttle on a jet boat. _________________

Nekkie, very true
but seriously, i dont get why pp is even around, it only helps when newbs are driving but it isnt hard to drive a boat or ski.
i hate when people get on a boat and go oh i cant drive no pp. |

headhuntermx4, yeah well the pp on the boat makes a world of difference. Even a good driver wont be as good as the pp, even more so on loaded boats.
Behind the ski I find it even worse... I always feel I'm going too slow or too fast. The driver plays a big role, but still, there's going to be times when you get yanked forward during a trick or miss a landing cause its too slow lol
btw quick off topic ? what rope lenght behind a ski? speed is same than boat or you go fater?
now someone gets me a pp for my ski
