How sick was super-pipe? I love it because it allows you to get a good sense on who to bet on for the Olympics. This year is going to be so hard to call, because there is so much talent now. Definately a Fin will win a medel at the Olympics. The Fins have such a strong team. Antti Autti was my pick to win x-games. I would love to see Kazu Kokubo from Japan win a medal. I rode with him in Japan and he is sick good. There are some good Italian riders who may have the home-court advantage, but they will be a super long shot.

shawn white should not have won pipe. mason aguirre threw a way better run.
It seems Shawn White won.... because he's shawn white. X-Games posterboy

The judging at most of these contests seems to be on what the rider is known for doing and not the cut and dry of what was thrown in the run. Thats the way it appears to be from the outside looking in.

I don't mean to name-drop like a gay homo, but I am going to anyways cause I am a gay homo..... All the riders used to come up to Hokkaido, Japan where I lived for the Toyota Big Air and to film. The parties after the contest were alway retarded -- great stories. Danny Kass is the most laid back and chill guy you will ever meet. The only other rider nicer than Kass is Jussi. I wish Jussi still rode pipe.
The one thing that made me she-eat my pants during the coverage of the x-games pipe was that one of the younger riders when asked "what do you think of Jamie Lynn", he said "who is she?"
I took that as a sign of how old I am, and how young some riders are now.
I always take the day off work for Olympic Half-pipe. I stay at home in my underwear, get stizzled, place my bets, then admire how much snowboarding continues to progress..........

I see, I wasn't really trying to be a smart ass. Just as far as I knew there had only been one pipe even which made your comment seem weird.
All I remember is Jonny Mosely with the 360 iron cross mute in moguls at Nagano. Who won the pipe?
