why do you feel you need/want a sponsor? And this is a serious question (i'm not trying to be a smart ass).

The other thing is, what can YOU offer a board shop (or whatever entry level sponsorship you're looking for). It's not just a one way ticket, and they need to benefit as much (and most likely more so) than you benefit from them.

Lastly, for something like a boardshop, it's not really just about tricks. It's about attitude and, like I said, what you can offer them. My advice? Keep riding, keep a good head on your shoulders, and keep progressing. If you're the man for the job (so to speak) they will come to you.

dude seriously take it from me, try not to think about gettin sponsored. i can tell your eager to get hooked up even though your a begginer and havent been skatin that long. gettin sponsored was probably one of your motive sto start too. but take it from me, forget about it. sponsorship was always on my mind with skateboarding and it kinda killed it for me. its alright to have it for like a dream to one day get hooked up by a company but dont take it too seriously, youll burn out on it.

i dont know just ride contests, i got a skateshop sponsor for skateboarding cuz the guy saw me skating at the skate park. it just sorta happened

mdb311, I can give you name of hard tricks, but that doesn't mean that if you can do those you'll be sponsored. Like most here said it's 70% attitude, 30% ride skills.

so yeah, hard tricks are kick flips, 3 shuvs, big spins, and variations of those on the flats, the lip, inside out and so on. That's the top of the list ^^

once you get hooked up people want to test you, and start judging you'r riding. gettin free goodies is dope, but there's alot more to it. forget trick's and figure out what feels good to you. style is key young man. just lie and tell everyone you'r hooked up, you'l still get da btch's Idea
