What's everyone thinking about Dennis? Any predictions?
Edit: I was just looking at the Gulf of Mexico temperature map on some website. I'm pretty sure this is going to head east from what they've been saying. It gets a lot cooler in the gulf where it's projected to head. Just my guess that it's going to follow warmer water. |

It really sucks that another storm this strong is headed for areas that are still rebuilding from last year. I wish them all the best.
According to the projections, I should be in the clear, but you never know once the storm gets in the GOM. I predict that it will hit land around Panama City or further east. |

No surfing, skimboarding, wakeskating, or wakeboarding 4 me for about a week. This would be the week to surf er skim too. I just got stiches like right by my arm on my back yesterday.
I got back from the Keys the other day and Im glad I left when I did because theyre telling everybody to evacuate and there like no gas or ice down there now.
Hopefully Dennis will get rid of all this red tide because its stanky and all the dead fish are backing up in my canal. |

Ok, now I'm pretty sure this thing is going to hook to the east a good amount. Just know that if you're on the Gulf Coast of Florida, prepare for some weather. |

wakesk8er19, why the hell would you want one? for some excitement? i used to feel the same way, but if you get a direct hit (which you havent yet), your house will be ruined ans youll feel like an assshole. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

I live across the bay in from Mobile alabama. Ivan got us pretty bad. I hope like hell it doesnt come here. No power for 2 weeks, from ivan. Cleaning up the yard and street for several days. It sucked. Now if I had a winch my thoughts might change. _________________

wakesk8er19, seriously dude, unless you've actually been hit then shut the hell up. hurricanes suck, plain and simple. even ditchboarding doesnt make up for all the damage they do. |

hurricanes are awesome from a weather standpoint, not from all the destruction. im just a weather nut and really enjoy the awesome power of a hurricane. yea the destruction sux but watching the storm unleash hell is exciting, ahhh i guess you cant understand unless you love bad weather. any other weather freak gets it. and yea id say andrew hittin us in 92 was a direct hit............. |

wakesk8er19, and just how much cleaning up did u have to do during andrew? do you even remember the hurricane? if you got hit now im sure you would quickly change your perspective, especialy after seeing all the damage and having to deal with cleaning up and repair. |

Yeah, i know what you mean. The sheer power of things completely amazes me. I went directly through the eye of Charlie, had to physically hold my doors shut. I felt the force of the wind on the glass, and the pull of the pressure change on the door handles while watching street signs blow through my backyard. It was pretty insane. |
