Hello everyone. I just picked an O'brien traffic 113 and I have a question. I was given fins with the board and I am watching a wakeskating video and it doesn't seem like they have fins on the bottom of their boards. If I put my fins on will I be able to spin and flip the board the same( or close to). If I decide not to put the fins on can I ride it with out?

you can ride with or without fins, they arent limiting, alot of pros rid with out b/c of rails and sketchy landings and so forth, but I say try both and see what suits you better

Yes rather you ride with fins or without them,you can do all tricks either way.

Fins- tracks better, easier to turn and carve around easier, landings will be better, lipslides will be more exact. If you ride with fins it will be harder to do shovits(spin the board). If you ride with fins you have to pop your tricks, you cant just spin them on the water.

No fins- Can shovit easier. Landings will feel a little more slick, usually not as clean landings. You can still pop your tricks with fins, but dont have to. Wake to wake is a little harder to learn with out fins.

I ride with out fins, but your riding will MOST LIKELY be more exact with fins.

But every trick can still be done either way you go. Its mostly prefrence.

I would suggest to put only one fin on next time you go ride, and as you ride you can try both and really see the difference

Yeah, I just saw that t-shirt at my local shop within the past month and I assumed it was from a new run and not from the first. Either way...you get the point.

Honestly I cant stand 311 and never listen to them...So I cant quote something I dont know. Jeffy used to say it all the time and thats why Volcom put it on his art shirts after he left us.
