every1 keeps talkin about how wakeskating should be different frum wakeboardin and not end up bein all for the companies. i agree with this except for the part about price. i think the easiest way to beat out the bad companies is to get lower prices on boards cause i for 1 cant afford to pay 200 dollars for a peice of wood with fins. _________________ Anatomy(n)-something everyone has, but looks better on a girl |

the companies have too make a profit to stay in the game! Parents and yuppies are gonna pay the 200+ dollars for a board but if you shop around you can gett em cheap _________________ watch for the rise! |

The 04 season is going to be flooded with wakeskates. I expect to see prices start to drop on boards pretty soon but not by much. I'm not sure if I'll ever pay 200+ for a wakeskate again but that new mutiny board is calling my name. Cassette still has very nice boards under 150 bucks. Just make sure you buy quality and not cheap knock offs. I think one of the mutiny guys said it best. "would you rather buy one kinda expensive boards that is gonna last or 3 less expensive boards that break."
But yeah, the classifieds section here has some nice deals....... including one from me LOL. _________________ Subvert WakeSkate Magazine

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. May God have mercy on your soul. It will cost more than $20.... _________________ Can't eat at McDonald's every day - Shannon Hoon |

yea i agree with stussy, that much grip tape alone would cost about 10, the wood, about 20... that is good wood... and... the paint and stuff.. about 8 and fins.. depends.. if u have nice fiberglass ones then 10. thats 48 dollars.. then you have labor and manufacturing prices... plus tax... _________________ 407-212-7425 |
