On wb.com, there's that article called "How to get better this winter".
They say that "Skateboarding will definitely help your balance and board control, it's also a great way to learn to ride switch better. Riding switch on a skateboard is harder then a wakeboard, so it will make riding switch on the water seem easy."
Maybe it's just me, but I think that cruising switch is harder on a wakeskate/board than on a skateboard.
Mind game? Visualization issue?
What do you think? |

Ok Parky, you've won! But please don't kill this thread like you killed other threads with "ping-pong discussions". You are a kind of virus.
I just want to know what other people think. _________________

I have always noticed the same thign too I think it is because of the rope factor. I find that having the rope in front of my right hip is what makes it feel real awkward(I skate regular) Skateboarding and snowboarding switch is a lot more natural feeling. I think it is all mind games and the more you do it the more comfortable you will be. |

Skatin switch is super hard for me, it has taken me a long time to catch on to it. But i didn't have nearly as hard of a time at it on the wake. I don't think its a mind game or a visualization thing. It's just a bout practice, i don't care too much about riding swtich, but my brother and my roomate do all the time and they kill it. _________________ watch for the rise! |
