hey i was just wondering whats up with the winch. i just keep hearing about it but never see anything but a few photos. also i dont know if its been talked about but its gonna be huge in the snowboard world. you could go session any nice ledge or rail in town or build some hits in the dead center of town with no hills around. |

Chris Williams, the snowboarding thing is one of the first things i thought of, another sweet thing about it would be if you have a hill in your yard, you could hit a rail going down the hill then use the winch to go back up and hit it going up too. _________________ P.S.... this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated |

I don't think the winch will have enough power to pull someone up a hill. The winch won't pull someone right out of the water on a wakeskate, so I just don't think that's what it was intended for.
I guess it would be interesting to see if it would even be used for jibbing on a snowboard. Most people use pre-built ramps or man power, so they may not be able to justify the ~800.00 price tag. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

i totaly think it could pull someone up a hill, i have snowboarded for over 10 years now and if you have a decent wax job and some packed snow it doesn't take that much work to get going. maybe it wont work but i sure as hell will try if i ever get a winch _________________ P.S.... this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated |
