actually, that's how it was done. That board was from 1998 and the pads are from 1999 or 2000. Look at any old "wakeskate" byerly used to use and it would look quite similar to that. Or check out his shoveit on his old byerly wake tech (the baby blue one) in retrospect. That thing is right around a 143. Anyway, You've seen his kitted-out astrodeck wakeboards that probably have over 100.00 worth the astrodeck on them.

Nekkie, I was just about to say that. Before I knew what wakeskating was we would try standing up on tubes, kneeboards, I think we even went far enough as to try taking the bindings off of a wal mart wakeboard.

I did the same thing. I used to go wake to wake standing up on my kneeboard. But that was longer than 5 years ago, more like 15. Embarassed

Yeah I used to(15yrs ago) stand up on my kneeboard, never was able to go w2w though. The kneeboard I had was quite hard to ride standing up

i saw that auction on ebay and i almost bought that thing just for the fwt pads...i got an old mini squirt chillin at my house that would be fun to put those on and ride it old school

if it wasnt for guys riding boards like that wakeskating would not be where it is today. dont hate.

hyperlite640, How many wakeskates did you see in 1999 or 2000??

Ask yourself that and it should give you the answer to your question... Very Happy
