Ok, I had this wonderful idea while I was at work tonight (a meat market , don't ask how) Anyway, theres this guy who comes by and I always talk to him. Well Guys, tonight was the night I asked about the IMPOSSIBLE. He is the Director of Facilities at Emerald Pointe water park in Greensboro NC, and they have a HUGE wave pool their (18 ft deep to 3 ft. 100 yds long and 75 yds wide) I asked what would be the chances of placing an all wakeskate rail/kicker tournament in the wave pool. He sounded simi stoked about it and gave me his e-mail and phone number, the weather does'nt get good untill mid May, so its still a long time to plan. But if anybody good get there hands on a couple of winches, get a few pro'z and some sponsers, it could be another Byerly Toe jam. Whatta yall think? Dumb idea or Good idea? Any ideas? |

Sounds fun, but I'm not sure (don't quote me on this) if the pros would come flocking to that. But if you can get it organized and get the word out there the chances are a lot better. I've always thought about setting my.. err... nevermind... up at the local full size pool here... and then them calling the cops and getting me busted and a half. _________________

Sounds pretty cool, make sure you test it out to make sure that wakeskating is possible in it (if you haven't), and surely the rails. Sounds cool though. _________________ :colorless: -> http://falic.parsethis.net <- |

| Alex, Greensboro North Carolina. Central part of the state. The Water park is called Wet'nWild Emerald Pointe. Talked to dave last night and he said that I would have to get some serious prizes to get proz to come up to compete in a winch/wave pool contest |

Wouldn't that be fun... wakeskating through wave pool waves... seriously, if you went straight into one of those swells you could get some killer air... _________________
