What's happenin'. New to the board, just want some info basically on what size board to get. I've been skateboarding and wakeboarding for years, last summer I blew my left knee out during a wakeboard session. Mad I had ACL recon and I am looking to do something less stressful on the knees. I did some research and found out that wakeboarding and snowboarding are very hard on the knees because of the stresses involved. My question is: What size skate would be best for me? I am 5'7" tall and 160 LBS. I'm pretty sure I want a concave. Thanks for the heads up!

Trey

Trey, its hard to say, when you look at some pros like Aaron Reed rides a 41 and he is twise the size of guys like hampson and he rides a 42... Im 6'3'' 160lbs and I ride a 39in skate... for you I would say something from a 40-42 maybe bigger... try to demo some skates... and concave isn't everything Wink

soooo youre saying this because you actually think so, or because you ride for kampus? ive ridden flats before and they in no way can even to compare to being as responsive as a cassette concave or my integrity.

perhaps you can clue me into something that i might be missing.

scott a, no I love that my K is flat... I have alot of foot room and I dont have to worry about all those kicktails and stuff to screw up my footing... if I ever got a pro model with them it would be a flat
