no they are not mainly acoustic at all. they have been on hiatus for about 18 months, they lost their lead guitarist to pancreatic cancer a few years ago. they replace him w/ george mcconell, who played in beanland w/ they keyboard player way back when... so they've been in "transition". i've been catchin shows for 15 years now... one of the top 5 fastest bands to sell out a show in the US. check out their site, the darkroom has lots of pics from the lot scene before the shows... to put them into a catagory it would be Jambands, sitting along side bands like the grateful dead, phish, string cheese incident, gov't mule, moe, mofro, north miss. allstars, karl denson's tiny universe etc...... i'd HIGHLY recommend checking them out... grab a cd (i'd suggest everyday, then if you like it get the live 2 disc show light fuse get away) if you really like it... catch me on here or pm me and i'll hook you up w/ some sick live shows.... here's some of my list...

One of my buddies is really into heady music...i.e. knows allot of hippes and he has over 19 yrs worth of live shows.....I mean streaming. If you lined it out in 1 playlist it would play for 19 years.

sounds like a taper to me!!!!!!!!!!! i been tradin for about 5 years.... have give or take 1000 discs in books, spindles etc.. all just live tunes... the whole bit torrent trading has become the fastest smoothest way to trade and get music.... lossless compression. i was keeping 120 GB harddrive FULL.... cleaned it up and haven't really had time since we had a baby..... no i just try to get some sleep. if any of ya get the bug, i'll happilly burn you some tunes.
