New wakeskate shoes????

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of any new models of wakeskate shoes. Their really isn't that big of a selection out there now and I think companies like dvs, reef, 3thirteen and others should really put out more models, what do ya'll think???

yeah man kampus has two styles of shoes out this year and tons of colors.

I have had my 3thirteens for a year and a half and love them but they are just starting to wear and tear. The Kampus shoes I think are ugly Wink

What I did for a little while was take an old pair of skateshoes and cut vents into the sides, worked well. But I like and ride the Reefs, all synthetic, lots of mesh with plastic ribs to protect the mesh from being annihilated by griptape. They're a tasty treat, but Reef is so "mysterious" about that shoe, I don't know if they're still doing it or what.

I dig those Kampus KS-1's...

And as I love to mention, Erich Schmaltz shreds in Converse Chuck Taylors.

I am new to wakeskating but not to watersports. i was just wondering if i need shoes or if it better with them or with out them. i have a foam top board. so its not like i have to worry about the grip tabe bothering my feet. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Very Happy

~*QUEEN*~, yu dont need to shoes but it will be alot easier with turning and board control and expiacly gripping to the board it will keep yu much more comfortable with turning cause your toes wont stay on the board whil your heel goes up the board will actually turn with yu also your feet arent that grippy compared to shoes so my adivce is get shoes but its al your call

gate-rider, thanks for the input i was thinking shoes would be better but just wanted to make sure. are skating shoes better or just any old pair of shoes. anyways thanks again for ur advice. Very Happy

does any one know if Kampus will be coming out with bigger sizes this year? I wear a 14/15 shoe, new to the wakeskating scene but I've done my homework on it so i know DVS has size 14 dresdens, but the Kampus look sick.
