I voted 40, but if they made a 35 I'd ride that, I like tiny boards

Let's do a statistical comparison:

Integrity: Durability, reshapable walls, less weight

Bi-level: has everything else, including as much durability as you can expect a wood skate to have.

PS: 40"

Joke or not, some random person may come in here and not buy a Bi-Level for the simple fact someone had a bad experience. If they're hearing all Cassette's bilevels are being recalled, they won't buy one.

mine is de-lamming but there is no way im returning it. im just going to let the bottom deck fall apart and then replace it for 100 during the summer. i'd rather donate $100 to cassette than take away money they need to continue making us happy.

s34n, hurray, Pirate single handedly destroyed the wakeskating market as we know it. Don't be a kook, if it's happening, which it is, than it's his right (or anyones for that matter) to let people know whats going on. If any other company were having problems people would talk about it.

Yeah I get your point L.O.W PRIDE, but would you classify this as cassette "having problems" as you said? Unless they do a recall, in my opinion there are no problems. I've been preaching this many times - don't go ape sh*t over 3 people on this site with peeling/cracking decks. I think this whole issue is just being blown way out of proportion

s34n, 4 sure, ya know, i have always liked riding cassettes. i just have always preferred the wood decks over wakeboards w/ grip tape.( i can't stand knifey edges) but what i think is happening (and has always happened) is that wood decks regardless of the company who makes them, can and will fall apart. depending on how and what you ride these boards on will usually dictate the life expectancy of your board. now if these bilevels have been busting after one or two sessions WITHOUT HITTING rails than Cassette does have a problem but it is my assumtion that these boards are being riddin by good riders and are doing what all good boards eventually do...break

I dont get your point about preferring wood decks over wakeboards w/ grip tape, I was never preaching Integrity vs Cassette. Your totally right though with the rest of it

My bi-level's been going strong, about 20 sessions now, it was way too cold to ride today, there was ice floating in the lake.
