I've been out of high school now for a while, but I am curious to know if they have started teaching you guys anything about money? How to manage money, investing, financial statements, etc. Anyone take any classes in school about money?

yea we have like business class and record keeping and all these weird classes at my school. they are electives though. so unless you are motivated enough to do one of those you dont get any of the info in the general cirriculum

seems like a good idea though huh

my new school doesnt teach me anything. i dont even get to choose my classes. i really dont like it

lucky that would be nice. we are given classes its gay. like one week we learn biology, and its really easy, cause i took that last year at my old school, then one week we learn physics, then the next we learn chemistry. its weird. and same with math. we go algerbra, which is easy, then geo, then algerbra 2.

yea its horrible. i hate my school. its so hard sometimes, and so easy sometimes. like we are on this thing called MYP and its a 5 year program that starts like 5th grade i think, and its a bunch of projects combined that make it, and like you use the same books and stuff, and i dont have any of it cause i am new. but it doesnt make much of a difference i guess. school is just not my thing.

when I was in 4th or 5th grade, the teachers thought it would be a great idea if they tried to teach us about balancing checkbooks and my ears started to bleed... Shocked

I think it would make too much sense if they did money sense classes on a broad scale.

Dave Barousse, we have a class called CAPP this year... its Career Personal Planning... and we learn alot of how to be suggesfull in business, how to make resumes, how to deal with family issues, how to deal with money and how to take care of it and how much to spend on certin areas...
